Workplan for Security Infrastructure WG

Objective: Address final comments and vote on 2 fencing documents

 
We are confirmed for the next Infrastructure Security Standards Working Group meeting in San Jose, CA, on Thursday and Friday, January 28-29th, 2010.

Please RSVP to confirm attendance and so we have a head count and Santa Clara VTA can quickly process us through security.  
 
Here are the details:
 
Meeting location: Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority is located at 3331 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95134-1906  (building B lobby) Mark Mahaffey will be hosting us.  We will meet Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm and til noon on Friday. Please be in the hotel lobby by 7:30am on Thursday.

ASK for the INFRASTRUCTURE WORKING GROUP to reserve a blocked room at the government rate.  The per diem for hotels for San Jose during this period is $132.

San Jose International Airport (SJC).  Airfare or train fare should be booked at the lowest economy/coach rate not to exceed $500. See attached file for complete details.


The focus of the Transit Security Infrastructure Work Group is to develop industry standards for transit related infrastructure.  Transit infrastructure is defined as passenger, maintenance and operations facilities, and their related assets; rights-of-way, including tunnels, elevated structures, and bridges; fixed assets, such as track, signals, traction power substations, and interlockings.  The Working Group will initially focus on the types, placement, and testing of security-conscious trash receptacles
