The Rail Transit Rail Grade Crossing Committee develops and maintains standards and recommended practices covering rail transit system highway-rail grade crossings. The Committee has developed guidance for warning system design, warning system inspection and maintenance, public awareness education and safety assessment of new grade crossing designs.
