The PRESS Electrical Committee develops and maintains standards and recommended practices covering rail passenger vehicle electrical systems and components. The Committee has developed guidance documents covering wire, wiring, grounding and bonding, head end power, trainline power transmission, electromagnetic compatibility and battery systems.
